A quick guide to your receptionist and daily work.
Start with your business
Choose Add a business, enter its name and type, and follow Setup. Add your business details, weekly hours, days off, and greeting. Your progress saves as you continue.
Try your receptionist
Open Receptionist → Talk to your receptionist. Allow microphone access, speak naturally, and use End conversation when you’re done. Ask for availability, change a detail, then confirm the final request. This is a browser test; incoming business calls require phone routing.
Set your schedule
Open Availability. Turn working days on or off, set opening and closing times, add breaks, and pick dates for days off. Choose Save changes. These rules control what the receptionist offers. A connected calendar may further limit openings with its own schedule and busy events.
Manage appointments
Calendar has month, week, day, and upcoming views. Select an appointment for details, a new time, or cancellation. Add appointment checks availability and asks you to confirm before saving. A real booking is confirmed only after the connected calendar returns a receipt.
Handle orders and messages
Food businesses have Menu and Orders. Edit prices, choices, and sold-out items, then save. Review incoming requests before accepting them. Move accepted orders through preparing, ready, and completed. A request awaiting acceptance is not a promised pickup time.
Messages keeps caller details together. Mark a message handled after taking care of it. Email delivery is shown only when a connected receiver confirms it.
Work with your team
Owners can create an email-bound staff invitation in Team. Share the generated link yourself. Staff can handle daily requests; business settings and connections remain owner-only. They must sign in with the invited email address to accept access to your business.
Practice and live connectionsSample businesses and unconnected workspaces are clearly marked. The existing private service demo uses the approved test calendar and Ben’s test details. New business accounts need their own authorized connections. Incoming phone routing, customer email delivery, and register/printer connections must be connected and tested before customer use.
If a request says it needs verification, do not submit it again. Check the provider result first.
